Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Operations Traineeship (UAE National)

About the role

Amazon Web Services is offering a six‑month Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Operations Traineeship in Abu Dhabi for UAE nationals. The programme provides hands‑on exposure to data‑center engineering tasks and prepares participants for a full‑time Engineering Operations Technician position.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering Operations team with troubleshooting and maintenance of power, cooling and mechanical equipment in the data centre.
• Support on‑call rotations, shift work and weekend duties as required.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis of equipment failures and contribute to corrective actions.
• Help with documentation, reporting and compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• UAE national holding a valid family book.
• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with interest in data‑center infrastructure.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.
