Electrical Sales Engineer

About the role

Careers International is looking for a motivated and experienced Electrical Sales Engineer to join its team in Dubai. The ideal candidate has a solid background in electrical product sales, excellent communication skills and knowledge of industrial sectors such as marine, oil & gas and construction. A UAE driving licence is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across marine, oil & gas, process plants, engineering and infrastructure sectors.
• Promote and sell electrical products from stock to clients and contractors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and procurement teams.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, technical proposals and negotiations to close deals.
• Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients as needed.
• Coordinate with internal teams on stock availability, deliveries and order status.
• Meet sales targets, report market trends and customer feedback, and attend client meetings, trade shows and exhibitions as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Valid UAE driving licence (mandatory).
• 2-5 years of experience in electrical product sales in the UAE.
• Experience with clients from the marine, oil & gas or industrial sectors is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical components, cables, switchgear, lighting, conduits and industrial supplies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ERP experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
