About the role

The role involves responding to guest repair requests and performing preventive and corrective maintenance across the hotel’s facilities. The electrician will work closely with guests and internal teams to ensure all electrical, mechanical and building systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve guest repair requests promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment and mechanical‑room assets, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment and machines for wear or damage.
• Identify, locate and operate shut‑off valves and utility shut‑offs for building systems.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and issues to incoming shifts using approved procedures.
• Prepare surfaces, paint, and carry out minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair electrical components, plumbing fixtures, and other guestroom items.
• Program televisions and perform general housekeeping‑related inventory duties.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Enter air‑handler schedules and adjust temperature settings using basic computer skills.
• Follow all company safety, security and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Full‑time, non‑management position based on‑site in Dubai.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests and internal teams.
• Commitment to follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout.
• Willingness to work shifts and maintain a professional appearance.
• Ability to handle confidential information and protect company assets.
