Electrician – Retail Store Maintenance

About the role

GMG is seeking a qualified Electrician to join its retail operations across the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems within assigned store locations, ensuring safe and reliable operation of all equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve day‑to‑day electrical issues to maintain smooth store operations.
• Perform corrective actions on identified electrical failures or system faults promptly.
• Respond to emergency repair calls and carry out ad‑hoc electrical tasks as required.
• Ensure all electrical equipment and accessories are used, maintained, and inspected according to standards.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records, including cost tracking.
• Verify that all electrical safety protections are functional and compliant.
• Communicate daily activities and flag any difficulties encountered during assignments.
• Adhere to quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience as an electrician.
• High school diploma or equivalent with appropriate apprenticeship training.
• Proven ability to work independently in a retail environment.
