Electromechanical Service Advisor

About the role

The Electromechanical Service Advisor acts as the main point of contact for customers and provides hands-on technical support for water treatment equipment. The role covers diagnosis, repair, documentation, training and inventory management, and requires willingness to travel and work outside normal business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customers, handling inquiries, concerns and service requests promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with water treatment equipment and provide effective solutions and repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on electromechanical systems, keeping them performing optimally and safely.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, service reports and customer interactions.
• Provide technical training and guidance to customers and junior technicians on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ensure all service meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
• Monitor and manage spare parts inventory so the right components are available for timely repairs.
• Stay up to date with advances in water treatment technology and electromechanical systems to improve service efficiency.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the water treatment industry.
• Willingness to travel and work outside regular business hours as needed.

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electromechanical systems, with a strong understanding of water treatment processes and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
