Engineer, Field Services (DD & LWD)

About the role

At ADNOC Drilling OFS, the Engineer, Field Services (DD & LWD) is responsible for implementing directional drilling and Measurement While Drilling/Logging While Drilling operations at the wellsite. The role also involves supervising junior field engineers, providing technical advice to customers and third‑party colleagues, and maintaining professional contacts to reinforce the company’s leadership in the oil‑service industry.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and supervision to junior Field Engineers on day‑to‑day wellsite activities.
• Deliver advice and direction to external customers and third‑party wellsite teams.
• Resolve complex wellsite problems that require analysis of drilling data and tool knowledge.
• Act as project leader and mentor, ensuring compliance with ADNOC Drilling SOPs, HSE policies and legal requirements.

Required profile

• BSc in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Good computer knowledge.

Required skills

• Directional drilling.
• Measurement While Drilling (MWD) and Logging While Drilling (LWD) techniques.
• Computer knowledge for data analysis and reporting.
