English Teacher (American Curriculum) – Cycle 2 & 3

About the role

Al Falah City International Community Schools is looking for a motivated English Teacher to deliver the American curriculum to Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 students. The role involves creating an engaging, supportive classroom environment for primary and middle‑school learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons aligned with American curriculum standards.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom that encourages participation.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback to students and parents, and implement individualized support.
• Promote positive behaviour and collaborative culture.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings and collaborative planning.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student performance.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices.
• Support extracurricular activities and school events as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., PGDE or equivalent).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably with the American curriculum.
• Commitment to student development and academic excellence.

Required skills

• High proficiency in English (native or near‑native level).
