ERP Project Manager - Dynamics 365 Business Central

About the role

An established organisation in the UAE is recruiting an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead a major Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central upgrade and business transformation programme. The role covers finance, supply chain, reporting, systems integration and business process improvements, working closely with senior leadership, IT teams, external implementation partners and key business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of the Dynamics 365 Business Central upgrade, from planning through implementation, go-live and post-implementation support.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, milestones and deliverables.
• Oversee project governance, risk management, reporting and stakeholder communications.
• Manage relationships with external system integrators, technology vendors and internal project teams.
• Coordinate business requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design and system configuration.
• Oversee data migration, including cleansing, mapping, reconciliation and validation.
• Manage system integrations across finance, supply chain and operations, and lead system testing (integration, UAT, regression).
• Drive change management, user training and business readiness; manage go-live planning, cutover and stabilisation.
• Identify improvements to financial reporting, operational efficiency, automation and business processes, and report regularly to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10+ years of ERP project management experience, including at least two full lifecycle ERP implementations.
• Proven track record managing complex ERP implementations or transformation programmes.
• Experience overseeing external implementation partners, system integrators and cross-functional teams.
• Ideal candidates have delivered Dynamics Business Central or NAV upgrades in complex environments, led finance-driven ERP transformations and worked with international or multi-functional teams.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV upgrade projects.
• Understanding of ERP architecture, system integrations, data migration and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of finance, operations and supply chain functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methods.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and senior-level reporting skills.
