Estimation Engineer - HVAC

About the role

The Estimation Engineer will review tender documents, HVAC drawings, specifications and BOQs to understand project requirements and prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take‑offs for ductwork, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, insulation and related accessories.
• Develop cost estimates for equipment, materials, labour, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Obtain, evaluate and analyse quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, preparing RFQs and following up for competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with design, procurement and project teams to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
• Identify discrepancies, omissions and potential risks in tender documents and ensure estimates comply with specifications and standards.

Required profile

• Experience reviewing tender documents and preparing HVAC cost estimates.
• Ability to analyse technical and commercial offers and support value engineering.
• Strong coordination skills with design, procurement and project teams.
