Events Officer - 12 Month Contract

About the role

Emirates is seeking an Events Officer on a 12‑month contract to support its Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand team. You will work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment, helping to plan and execute events that reinforce the airline’s global brand and marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Events Manager and Events Specialist in managing the events calendar from planning through on‑site execution.
• Coordinate invitation processes, registration, on‑ground logistics, transportation and accommodation for VIP guests.
• Source and manage business promotional cabin crew and oversee hospitality guest lists.
• Ensure brand messaging is integrated into on‑site branding, activation and all event materials.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost‑effective solutions while meeting budget constraints.
• Collaborate with Creative Services, Marketing Operations, PR and Visual Services to deliver event assets in line with global brand guidelines.
• Monitor supplier performance, enforce corporate standards and manage cost controls.
• Provide guidance to outstations and Business Units on local event requirements and compliance.
• Prepare pre‑event and post‑event reports with recommendations for improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event planning or coordination, preferably within a corporate or aviation environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining brand consistency.
