Executive Chef - Culinary Leadership

About the role

Rosewood Abu Dhabi's Culinary team delivers dining across restaurants, lounges, banquets, in-room dining and special events. As Executive Chef, you report to the Hotel Manager and provide strategic and operational leadership for all culinary functions, working with Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Purchasing and other operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all culinary operations, ensuring quality, consistency, creativity and presentation across outlets and events
• Develop menus, culinary concepts and seasonal offerings
• Manage food costs, labour expenses, productivity, inventory and waste reduction to drive financial performance
• Mentor and develop the culinary team
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, sanitation, workplace safety and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with F&B, Sales, Events and Marketing on business objectives and special events
• Monitor culinary trends and keep the dining portfolio competitive

Required profile

• Extensive leadership experience in luxury hotels, resorts or high-end restaurants
• Culinary expertise across multiple cuisines and large-scale banquet operations
• Proven track record leading teams and driving operational and financial results
• Strong business acumen: budgeting, forecasting, labour management, inventory control and profit optimisation
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
