Executive Director, Global Markets - Sales

About the role

The Executive Director, Global Markets - Sales will lead the origination and distribution of Global Markets solutions to key corporate clients, driving revenue and strengthening FAB's market position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients as a cross‑asset sales specialist, deepening relationships and generating sales opportunities.
• Maintain regular engagement and thought‑leadership, delivering solution‑driven approaches to build long‑term partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with FAB’s regulatory and best‑practice standards across all Global Markets sales activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including coverage teams and enablement functions, to promote product uptake.
• Escalate client or monetary issues promptly to line management and promote FAB’s strategic brand and values.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in financial markets, preferably in corporate sales within Global Markets.
• Proven track record of delivering sales revenue and managing high‑volume, high‑pressure environments.
• Strong analytical, communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to interact with risk, legal and compliance teams.
• UAE national status as required by the posting.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Global Market products: FX (including options), money market, credit (repo, bonds), interest‑rate derivatives, commodity solutions, equities, derivatives, Islamic products.
• Understanding of risk valuations, XVA pricing and RAROC.
• Proficiency with MIS and performance metrics to drive portfolio growth.
• Ability to conduct cross‑asset class conversations and support internal product teams.
