Executive Director – Oil & Gas Chemicals M&A

About the role

The Senior Industry Banker will lead strategy and execution for Energy & Natural Resources clients across the Middle East, focusing on M&A, LBO advisory, private equity placements and acquisition financing. This role partners closely with Relationship Managers and Product Partners to deepen client relationships and drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and execute strategic deals in corporate finance, financial and capital markets for the Energy & Natural Resources sector.
• Lead client engagements, including deal economics, term sheet negotiations and execution of mandates to meet annual coverage budgets.
• Develop new client relationships and maintain existing ones, positioning the bank as the first point of call for complex transactions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and uphold the bank’s conduct principles.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree from a top‑tier school.
• Prior experience in ENR industry or a top‑tier investment bank with a track record in structured debt, project finance, M&A, capital markets and structured trade transactions.
• Strong financial analysis, client interaction, deal negotiation and structuring capabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with high work ethics and attention to detail.
