Executive Manager - AI Cybersecurity Assurance

About the role

DeepLight AI is seeking an Executive Manager to lead AI Cybersecurity Assurance for a major banking client. This senior leadership position will shape governance, risk, and compliance frameworks for AI and ML initiatives, ensuring alignment with the bank’s risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an AI cybersecurity assurance framework that aligns with internal policies and global financial regulations.
• Lead formal security audits, assessments, and compliance reviews of AI systems, data pipelines, and third‑party AI integrations.
• Identify, evaluate, and document cybersecurity risks inherent in AI technologies and drive remediation across engineering and business teams.
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal audit, risk committees, senior executives, and external regulatory bodies regarding AI security compliance.
• Monitor and report on the organization’s AI security posture, tracking vulnerabilities and compliance gaps to resolution.
• Ensure AI assurance activities support the strategic objectives of both DeepLight AI and the banking client.
• Provide coaching and management to senior leaders, fostering a culture of professionalism and results delivery.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in AI/ML governance, risk management, and compliance within the financial services sector.
• Proven track record advising senior banking executives and regulatory stakeholders on AI security matters.
• Strong understanding of global financial regulations and internal security policies related to AI deployments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
