Executive Manager, Structured Credit Investments

About the role

The asset manager is seeking an Executive Manager for Structured Credit Investments to lead the execution and lifecycle management of ABS, MBS, CLOs and related asset classes. Based in Abu Dhabi, this director‑level role sits within the Treasury and Investments Group, supporting the institution’s funding, investment and risk management activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute approved structured credit mandates in line with desk strategy, coordinating with Management, Risk and Finance.
• Monitor macro‑economic indicators, market trends and regulatory developments affecting structured credit markets.
• Source, screen and analyse structured credit opportunities, assessing risk appetite and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate transaction structures, collateral quality, cash‑flow mechanics and counterparty strength for internal approvals.
• Contribute to portfolio construction, develop risk‑monitoring tools and prepare reports for senior management and investment committees.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank guidelines and maintain documentation for audit readiness.
• Engage with external counterparties such as arrangers, asset managers and rating agencies.
• Identify new product structures and investment approaches to diversify the portfolio.
• Manage team objectives, performance and development, and support budget preparation.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in structured credit markets as an arranger or investor.
• Significant exposure to ABS, MBS and bespoke securitisation transactions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• CFA, FRM or equivalent qualification preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modelling and cash‑flow analysis.
• Portfolio risk management and monitoring capability.
• Knowledge of regulatory and capital frameworks relevant to structured credit.
