About the role

The College of Computing and Artificial Intelligence at United Arab Emirates University invites applications for faculty positions in Computer and AI Engineering at the assistant, associate, and full professor levels. The role involves advancing research and teaching in AI-driven and autonomous systems, intelligent hardware, robotics, and UAV technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead high‑quality research programs in intelligent sensing, autonomous control, embedded and edge AI, and real‑world deployment of intelligent systems.
• Secure competitive external research funding and foster collaborations with industry and external partners.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses across computer and AI engineering and supervise student research.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in computer engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience in industry collaboration, technology transfer, and execution of R&D projects.
• Strong publication record in reputable journals and leading international conferences.
• Evidence of, or strong potential for, obtaining competitive research funding.
• Excellence in teaching and student supervision at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
