F&B Operations Manager

About the role

Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, a Shangri-La property with 301 guestrooms and suites, is looking for a F&B Operations Manager. The role oversees the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets to ensure excellent service and guest satisfaction, manages the team, maintains standards and ensures smooth workflow, while supporting staff development and the hotel's financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all F&B outlets to ensure high-quality service and efficient operations.
• Lead, develop and motivate F&B colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
• Monitor inventory, control costs and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Work closely with HQ, the General Manager and departmental heads to support strategic planning and business goals.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve issues and maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in hospitality management, hotel administration or F&B management.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills, and deep knowledge of F&B operations, service standards and hospitality best practices.
• Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control and inventory management.
• Problem-solving skills and a high level of professionalism and guest-service orientation.
