Field Engineer – UAE National (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

TechnipFMC is seeking a UAE national Field Engineer to provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle, from manufacturing and testing to final installation and after‑sales service. The role combines mechanical design, troubleshooting, and customer liaison within a global energy‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for internal and external customers.
• Support product manufacturing, testing, installation, and post‑sale service.
• Research, plan, and propose original mechanical designs using CAD tools.
• Prepare engineering calculations, design reviews, and ECN documentation.
• Manage Quality Notifications, rework, refurbishment and remanufacturing activities.
• Develop procedures and work instructions for mobilization, demobilization, maintenance and repair.
• Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and provide real‑time technical support during manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with regional engineering groups to share best practices and knowledge.

Required profile

• UAE national status.
• Strong engineering background with experience in mechanical product design.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills for client and supplier interactions.
