Finance Manager – Construction Industry

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with a strong background in the construction industry to lead our financial operations, budgeting, cash flow, project costing and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall finance and accounting functions, including monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, cash‑flow projections and financial plans.
• Analyse project‑wise financial performance, profitability, costs and budgets, and identify variances.
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable, client collections and supplier/subcontractor payments.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, quantity surveyors, procurement and commercial teams on financial matters.
• Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team, providing analysis and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field.
• 8–12 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in construction or contracting.
• 3–5 years in a senior finance manager role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements.

Required skills

• Construction accounting and project financial management.
• Project costing, work‑in‑progress (WIP), cash‑flow management, budgeting and forecasting.
• Financial reporting and analysis.
• ERP/accounting systems proficiency.
• Advanced MS Excel.
