Finance Manager - Media (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

An experienced, detail-oriented Finance Manager is sought to oversee the financial health of the company's Dubai operations. The role covers financial planning, reporting, budgeting, compliance, cash flow management and supporting strategic decisions, and requires prior experience in a media agency environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting activities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports accurately and on time
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, VAT requirements and financial laws
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants and regulators
• Maintain internal controls, financial policies and procedures
• Analyse financial data and advise senior management on strategy and risk
• Manage banking relationships and treasury functions
• Support client servicing and operational teams, and lead and mentor the finance team where applicable

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• CPA, ACCA, CMA or CA preferred
• Previous finance experience in a media or advertising agency
• Strong understanding of agency financial operations, client billing, reconciliations, supplier management and revenue tracking
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and corporate finance practice
• Preferred: experience in the UAE or GCC, knowledge of IFRS and local statutory reporting
