About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Finance Section Head to lead our Financial Accounts function. The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with policies and standards, and drive continuous improvement across the finance team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Financial Accounts team, supervising daily accounting activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Oversee preparation of monthly, periodic, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, payments, reconciliations, and fixed assets.
- Coordinate with external auditors and relevant stakeholders on audit matters.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, ACA, CFA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in financial accounting or a comparable leadership role.
- Eligibility: UAE national.
