Financial Analyst - FP&A

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is recruiting a Financial Analyst for its regional FP&A function covering the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, KPI analysis and performance insights, working closely with Operations and Supply Chain.

Key responsibilities

• Support annual budget, quarterly forecast and rolling projection cycles across multiple markets
• Consolidate market submissions and validate assumptions for headcount, opex and capex
• Build and update financial models for scenario planning and business decision support
• Produce monthly FP&A packs with variance analysis (budget vs forecast vs prior year)
• Consolidate reporting outputs from ERP and consolidation tools (e.g. Oracle and OneStream)
• Support QBR packs and leadership dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• Track KPIs such as sales volumes, operating margin, cost per case, warehousing and distribution costs and working capital
• Identify risks and opportunities, run root-cause analysis and propose actions
• Support reporting automation and dashboard enhancement (Excel, Power BI, consolidation tools)
• Reconcile reporting between systems and internal trackers, standardise templates and documentation
• Partner with Operations/Supply Chain to align operational drivers with financial outcomes, and support business cases, pricing reviews and cost optimisation initiatives

Required profile

• 2-4 years in FP&A, management reporting or business finance (logistics, FMCG or distribution preferred)
• Professional certification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CMA or CA)

Required skills

• Strong Excel, PowerPoint and financial modelling
• Power BI is an advantage
• Exposure to Oracle EBS and/or OneStream preferred
