Financial Analyst - Investment Management

About the role

A prestigious investment management company is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The analyst helps analyse financial data, prepare reports and supports the senior financial team in making informed investment decisions. The position suits someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a solid understanding of financial principles.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements, investment performance and market trends
• Conduct financial modelling and valuation analysis to support investment decisions
• Prepare financial reports, summaries and presentations for senior management
• Gather and organise financial data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Maintain databases and spreadsheets tracking financial information and investment performance
• Research industry trends, market conditions and competitor activity, and monitor economic and financial news
• Assist senior analysts and portfolio managers in preparing investment recommendations and strategies
• Take part in team meetings on investment opportunities and risks
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, and help prepare regulatory filings and documentation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field
• Accredited Financial Analyst, Master in Financial Risk Management or CFA is a plus
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a financial institution or a similar role in the UAE
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills and a solid understanding of financial principles
• Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and ability to work independently and in a team
