Financial Controller

About the role

Enhance is seeking a Financial Controller to lead core accounting and treasury functions as the company scales its fitness‑technology platform. The role is hands‑on, focusing on building robust processes, ensuring accurate reporting and maintaining compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual financial close cycles.
• Prepare statutory accounts and coordinate external audits.
• Develop and maintain financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll and general ledger.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and treasury activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Support finance system implementations and automation projects.
• Partner with senior leadership to deliver reliable financial insights.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in start‑up, scale‑up or high‑growth environments.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
• Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls.
• High attention to detail, integrity and ability to work in an ambiguous, fast‑moving setting.
