Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist (CA)

About the role

Caliber Brands, a consumer company focused on home and kitchen products, is hiring a Chartered Accountant (CA) for its Finance team in Dubai. The role sits in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and requires strong analytical skills, financial modelling expertise and the ability to give financial insights that support strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts and business plans, and monitor actual performance against them
• Conduct variance analysis and identify key business performance drivers
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, P&L statements and management dashboards
• Analyse profitability across divisions, products, brands and sales channels, and present insights to senior management
• Analyse revenue, gross margins, operating expenses and profitability, and develop financial models to evaluate growth opportunities
• Monitor KPIs and support pricing, cost optimisation and margin improvement
• Work with Sales, Operations and other departments, and support strategic planning and commercial decisions

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - mandatory
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, budgeting or management reporting
• Preferred: FMCG, consumer electronics, trading, retail or distribution experience
• Preferred: prior UAE/GCC experience; candidates in India willing to relocate may apply

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling and data analysis
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis
• ERP systems and Power BI are an added advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to meet strict reporting deadlines
