Financial Regulation & Fintech Associate – Dubai

About the role

Our client, a leading UK financial services firm, is looking for a Financial Regulation & Fintech Associate to join its Dubai team. The role offers the chance to work on a wide range of regulatory and fintech matters, supporting clients from concept through product launch and international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on financial regulation, licensing and compliance for banks, insurers and fintech companies.
• Assist clients with digital asset, payments, BNPL and emerging technology projects.
• Support the preparation of regulatory submissions and liaise with regulators.
• Conduct research on evolving regulatory frameworks and advise on market entry strategies.
• Contribute to business development by preparing proposals and client presentations.

Required profile

• 1–3 years post‑qualification experience in financial services regulation or fintech.
• Strong academic background, preferably with a law or finance qualification.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships.

Required skills

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, licensing processes and financial services law.
• Familiarity with digital assets, payments systems and buy‑now‑pay‑later models.
