Financial Reporting Accountant

About the role

The Financial Reporting Accountant is responsible for preparing and analysing accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial analysis schedules, identify trends and recommend improvement strategies.
• Generate periodic financial statements, forecasts and budgets, ensuring timely monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Support accounts payable, receivable and general ledger functions to maintain compliance with group and statutory reporting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (sales, operations, HR, finance) to provide financial insights.
• Assist the Financial Controller ME with audits, internal controls assessments and ERP improvement projects.
• Handle VAT return submissions and reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• Qualified accountant with a globally recognised accounting qualification.
• 5‑10 years of relevant experience in the Middle East region.
• Hands‑on approach with willingness to perform data entry and report preparation.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
