Fintech Architect – Digital Security

About the role

The Fintech Architect will report to the Manager of Digital Security Architecture and will be responsible for designing and managing security for ADIB's digital customer journeys. The role works closely with engineering leadership, GISD management and external FinTech partners to protect data and resources from internal and external threats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine regulatory compliance, risk identification, and mitigation strategies for digital and fintech assets.
• Lead the design, implementation and review of digital security solutions, including cloud security, network security and application security.
• Manage data privacy impact assessments, third‑party vendor assessments and security controls for digital initiatives.
• Provide security architecture guidance for subsidiaries, international business initiatives and fintech collaborations.
• Establish security configuration baselines, patching processes and oversee security DevOps tooling.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, ITIL or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of banking processes, digital banking applications and fintech ecosystems.
• Experience with ISO 27001, NESA, PCI DSS, SWIFT and SABSA security frameworks.
