Fitness Centre Manager – Launch New Premium Facility

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Fitness Centre Manager to lead the launch of a brand‑new premium fitness and wellness offering for a leading Dubai‑based luxury lifestyle and hospitality group. This ground‑floor position will allow you to shape the member experience, build the team, and define the commercial model from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the setup and daily operations of a new fitness facility and swimming pool, ensuring safety, premium standards, and a member‑first environment.
• Manage vendor and equipment relationships, overseeing maintenance, compliance, and performance.
• Recruit, train, and lead a team of personal trainers, instructors, and fitness staff; establish KPIs, service standards, and a performance culture.
• Own personal training revenue, membership growth, and retention; develop fitness programs, wellness initiatives, and member events.
• Control budgets, cost, and P&L for the new facility.
• Negotiate and manage third‑party wellness partners such as physiotherapy providers.
• Define and deliver a personalised, premium member experience as the face of the facility.

Required profile

• Certified Personal Trainer (REPs UAE, NASM, ACE or equivalent) with CPR, First Aid & AED certification.
• 3–5+ years in the fitness industry, including supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in a premium gym, leisure club, or hospitality environment is strongly preferred.
• Degree in Sports Science, Fitness or Kinesiology is desirable.
• Commercial mindset with comfort owning revenue targets.
• Builder’s mentality – energized by starting something new.
• Strong leadership presence; flexible to work on the gym floor and behind the scenes.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
