Floor Supervisor

About the role

The Floor Supervisor ensures smooth daily operations of the restaurant floor, overseeing opening and closing procedures, maintaining brand standards, and delivering excellent customer service. This role combines hands‑on supervision with inventory control and strict adherence to hygiene and SOP guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Execute opening and closing routines, guaranteeing compliance with all operational norms.
• Inspect merchandise, displays and brand presentation daily to uphold visual standards.
• Conduct monthly inventory of brand equipment following established procedures.
• Enforce uniform and personal hygiene standards for self and team members at all times.
• Support achievement of organisational targets and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Welcome guests, present menus, assist with selections and monitor table satisfaction.
• Handle complex billing issues, customer inquiries and special cases.
• Delegate tasks, set deadlines, monitor results, provide training and relay team needs to management.
• Supervise all floor staff, ensuring strict adherence to prescribed preparation techniques.

Required profile

• Previous experience supervising restaurant floor staff or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of opening/closing processes and inventory management.
• Commitment to hygiene standards and ability to enforce SOPs.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to train, motivate and coordinate a team to meet brand targets.
