Flow Controller – Conveyor Operations Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Flow Controller to ensure the smooth operation of automated conveyor and parcel handling systems in a fast‑paced logistics environment. You will be the first line of defence against jams and disruptions, keeping the flow of parcels uninterrupted.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor conveyor and parcel handling systems during operations.
• Clear parcel jams and obstructions to maintain system efficiency.
• Respond promptly to alarms, warnings, and operational issues.
• Identify root causes of flow disruptions and report them.
• Escalate equipment faults and maintenance needs to the appropriate team.
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting within the scope of training.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Support operational continuity through proactive issue identification and resolution.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with conveyor systems, warehouse automation, or similar material‑handling environments.
• Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and operational standards.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
