Forklift Operator – Warehouse & Logistics

About the role

PowerTech is looking for a reliable and safety‑conscious Forklift Operator to support its warehouse and logistics operations. The successful candidate will operate forklifts to move, load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload and transport materials within the warehouse or site.
• Move goods to designated storage areas, ensuring proper stacking and handling.
• Assist in receiving, checking and storing incoming materials.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report any defects or maintenance needs.
• Maintain compliance with safety guidelines and operational procedures at all times.
• Support inventory control by accurately recording material movements.
• Keep the warehouse and work area clean and organized.
• Assist with packing, palletising and dispatch activities when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid UAE forklift operator licence/certification.
• 2–5 years of experience operating forklifts in warehouse, manufacturing or logistics environments.
• Good understanding of safety practices and warehouse operations.
• Basic English communication skills (reading and speaking).
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.

Required skills

• Operation of counterbalance forklifts.
• Operation of reach trucks.
• Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems.
