Freelance Midwife - Home Visits, Lactation Support & Nanny Training

About the role

Valeo Health is hiring an experienced freelance midwife in Dubai to support families through practical nanny training, lactation support and postnatal mother and baby care. Work is appointment-based and flexible, with home visits.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver at-home nanny training on newborn handling, feeding support, diapering, hygiene, safe sleep and recognising warning signs.
• Provide breastfeeding support, including positioning, attachment, expressing and guidance on common feeding challenges.
• Conduct postnatal home visits to assess and support maternal recovery and newborn wellbeing within your professional scope.
• Help parents build confidence in everyday newborn care.
• Develop personalised care plans and practical training materials.
• Document visits and refer concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals when needed.

Required profile

• Recognised midwifery qualification and professional registration.
• Relevant UAE professional licence for the services provided.
• Hands-on experience in postnatal care, newborn care and breastfeeding support.
• Experience teaching parents, nannies or caregivers.
• Availability for home visits in Dubai.

Preferred

• IBCLC certification or additional recognised lactation training.
• Experience in European maternity settings or equivalent international clinical experience.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
