Freelance Sponsorships Manager

About the role

LINKVIVA, founded in 2003 and based in Dubai, organises major events such as Dubai Run, Dubai Ride, MOTB and MOTN, and works with government entities on family festivals, sports mega events, city seasonal shows, conferences and destination activations. It treats sponsors as partners and offers benefits beyond logo placement. The Senior Partnerships Manager is a freelance role responsible for developing partnership packages, engaging potential partners, negotiating and closing deals, and delivering rights and benefits for LINKVIVA's own events and client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create sponsorship packages and bespoke packages for key partners, ensuring ROI and engagement across a portfolio of events.
• Plan sponsorship decks and create, update and share partnership pipelines, tracking progress against targets.
• Set KPIs for each project and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Manage confirmed agreements so partners receive all contracted rights and benefits, and liaise with internal and external teams to over-deliver.
• Recruit, onboard, train, supervise and offboard junior partnership team members.
• Research and network to find partners, build a tagged partner database and target prospects accurately.
• Manage workflows, monitor the market, provide management reports and build long-term partner relationships, upsells and re-bookings.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a B2B sales position; sponsorship, sales or marketing background in consumer events, festivals or brand activations.
• Experience creating and delivering sponsor engagement from conception to evaluation, and previous work in the Middle East.
• Experience with events, festivals, F&B and retail activations, and engaging a Gen-Z audience.
• A UAE driving licence and your own transportation.

Required skills

• Budget management, contract management and proposal writing.
• Negotiation and relationship-building.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines and to present to senior stakeholders.
