Front Desk & Member Experience Executive

About the role

A premium fitness, sports and wellness facility in Abu Dhabi is looking for a professional, welcoming and customer-focused Front Desk & Member Experience Executive. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for members, guests and prospective customers while supporting the smooth daily operation of the reception area.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome members, visitors and prospective customers professionally.
• Manage the daily operation of the reception and front desk.
• Process member check-ins and ensure access is granted only to active and authorised members.
• Respond to incoming calls according to approved service standards, take accurate messages and direct enquiries to the right department.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of facility services, rules, class schedules, promotions and events, and give clear information to members and visitors.
• Handle general enquiries, requests and concerns professionally.
• Process cash, bills, cheques and other approved transactions accurately, keeping proper cash-register records and following internal financial-control procedures.
• Assist the Membership Sales team with facility tours when required and promote fitness events, classes, activities and campaigns.
• Coordinate with Membership Sales, Fitness, Operations and other departments, and escalate complaints or operational concerns to the appropriate manager.
• Maintain a clean, organised reception environment, protect confidential information and follow operating procedures, customer-service standards and health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• High school certificate or equivalent.
• Strong customer-service orientation, excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and able to stay calm during busy periods.
• Able to work effectively with customers and colleagues from different backgrounds.
• Preferred: previous experience in a fitness club, wellness facility, hotel or resort, leisure facility, premium reception or membership-based organisation.
