Front Office Check-In Associate

About the role

Viya, the UAE's leading golf and hospitality management group, is hiring a Check-In Associate for its Topgolf venue in Abu Dhabi. The role sits in the Front Office and reports to the Hospitality Manager, Front Office Team Lead or Assistant Hospitality Manager. The main purpose is to welcome guests, capture their membership information and place them on the waitlist or assign them to a bay, keeping bay turn times and wait times low.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and welcome them to the venue.
• Capture or verify guest information, including bay location or club preferences, and respond to guests with special needs.
• Quote accurate wait times and add guests to the Waitlist Manager, assigning them to a bay or placing them on the waitlist with an accurate estimate and an explanation of the texting procedure.
• Suggest ways to enjoy the venue amenities while guests wait and answer guest questions.
• Work quickly and efficiently to keep lines short, working closely with Senior Hosts and Hostesses so all stations in the bay and lobby are covered.
• Be ready to cover multiple positions across the front desk and help with opening and closing duties.
• Apply the four service targets and steps, and represent the department in committees such as the Staff Committee, Green Theme, Food Committee or Sport Committee.
• Be prepared to be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider.
• Comply with information security policies, attend IT security awareness sessions and report any suspected breaches to the IT Service Desk.
