Fulfillment Team Leader - E-commerce Operations

About the role

The Fulfillment Team Leader manages the day-to-day execution of e-commerce fulfillment operations, including picking, packing and handover to the last-mile team. The role ensures coordination across operations, commercial, IT, customer service and last-mile delivery, and keeps the dark store organized, clean and stocked, with customers fully satisfied with order freshness, quality and fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily e-commerce fulfillment operations, including picking, packing and handover to the last-mile team.
• Ensure smooth coordination across operations, commercial, IT, customer service and last-mile delivery functions.
• Maintain dark store organization, stock adequacy, cleanliness, cold-chain standards and goods segregation.
• Guarantee on-time dispatch, accurate delivery quantities, proper packing and quality control to prevent damage and loss.
• Identify, evaluate and resolve logistics, operational and system process challenges.
• Implement performance management, attendance monitoring and disciplinary actions in line with company standards.
• Develop team capabilities through mentoring, on-the-job training and coordination with HR on training needs and staffing.
• Contribute to developing and implementing MAF Retail policies, procedures and operational best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in E-commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in logistics and supply chain operations.
• Hands-on experience in e-commerce fulfillment and last-mile delivery preferred.
• Strong operational and commercial knowledge in cross-functional environments.
• Full professional proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
