Full‑time Lifeguard – Dibba Road, Fujairah

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to join our team at a Marriott resort on Dibba Road, Fujairah. The successful candidate will ensure the safety of guests in the swimming area, promote a welcoming atmosphere, and support the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers and intervene using appropriate rescue techniques when assistance is needed.
• Observe the pool area for hazardous conditions, unsafe activities, or guests in distress.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations, and inform supervisors of any safety concerns.
• Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, including towel handling, washing, and mopping.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Uphold company policies, protect confidential information, and maintain a professional appearance.
• Assist guests with disabilities and ensure a respectful, inclusive environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior lifeguarding experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, or jog for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Capability to work on slippery surfaces, ladders, and uneven terrain safely.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
