General Ledger Finance Operations Specialist

About the role

The General Ledger Finance Operations Specialist will oversee the full spectrum of accounting activities for operational entities, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and timely month‑end close. This role serves as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors and supports the finance team in delivering reliable financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for external and internal audit requests and manage the audit process.
• Prepare internal monthly financial reports and lead month‑end closing for all operational entities in line with group timelines.
• Capture costs promptly through accruals and maintain the fixed‑asset register, including work‑in‑progress and software development projects.
• Propose and implement cost‑control measures where appropriate.
• Coordinate tax reporting, including VAT, income tax, and related tax returns.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of assets and liabilities by preparing overhead analytics schedules monthly.
• Perform intercompany reconciliation and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in general ledger, month‑end close, and audit coordination.
• Strong command of English.
