General Manager – Employer of Record

About the role

Deel is seeking a General Manager to lead its Employer of Record (EOR) business, the largest revenue driver within the company. You will own the P&L, growth strategy, and global operating performance, driving expansion into new verticals and markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the EOR business end‑to‑end, including full P&L responsibility and growth strategy.
• Accelerate market leadership by defining and executing a roadmap for expansion and verticalization into industries such as shipping, mining, and entertainment.
• Scale operations, overseeing global compliance, onboarding, payroll, and employee lifecycle while building efficiency.
• Lead cross‑functional execution, aligning Product, Engineering, GTM, Finance, and Legal around clear priorities.
• Evolve the product toward a more scalable, tech‑enabled platform with automation, APIs, and enhanced customer experience.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in general management, operations, or workforce platforms.
• Proven track record owning and scaling large P&L businesses in high‑growth, regulated environments.
• Strong ability to lead large matrixed organizations and influence without direct authority.
• Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution rigor and executive presence.
