General Manager – FMCG (MEA Region)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) business across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. You will own full P&L responsibility, drive growth, and shape the market presence of a household favourite brand.

Key responsibilities

• Own total sales, revenue and profitability performance for the MEA region.
• Develop and execute a regional growth strategy, including market entry and expansion plans.
• Manage and optimise distributor partnerships and route‑to‑market models.
• Lead channel strategy across modern trade, traditional trade, foodservice and e‑commerce.
• Drive product portfolio decisions, localisation initiatives and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with marketing teams and agencies to increase brand visibility and market penetration.
• Build, develop and lead a high‑performing regional team.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and sustainable commercial growth.

Required profile

• 10+ years of commercial leadership experience within FMCG markets across MEA.
• Strong P&L management and financial acumen.
• Proven success managing distributors in multiple international markets.
• Track record of driving growth and building brands in emerging markets.
• Experience developing and executing regional commercial strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to hire, develop and retain top talent.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred.
