General Manager – Healthcare Operations (Dubai)

About the role

The General Manager will be responsible for leading Sharif Eye Center’s Dubai operations, shaping the strategic direction, and driving growth across all regional locations. Reporting to the board, the role ensures the delivery of world‑class ophthalmic care while maintaining operational efficiency and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long‑term strategic plan aligned with the centre’s mission and vision.
• Oversee daily operations across the GCC, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and high‑quality patient care.
• Manage financial performance, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and explore fundraising or partnership options.
• Collaborate with medical directors to uphold clinical standards, accreditation requirements, and patient‑centric initiatives.
• Recruit, develop, and retain senior management and administrative talent, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and implement robust risk‑management and governance policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing eye‑care centres, eye hospitals, or related healthcare facilities in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑site operations, drive strategic growth, and achieve financial targets.
