General Manager – Luxury Fine‑Dining Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead Hakkasan Dubai, a flagship venue of the internationally acclaimed Hakkasan Group. This senior role will oversee all aspects of the luxury dining experience, ensuring outstanding guest satisfaction, strong financial results, and a high‑performing multicultural team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full restaurant operation, accountable for guest experience, financial performance, team culture and operational excellence.
• Champion luxury hospitality standards, delivering personalised, seamless experiences for VIP and high‑profile guests.
• Inspire, coach and develop a multicultural team across front‑of‑house, kitchen, bar and lounge.
• Drive commercial performance through strategic planning, labour management, cost control and revenue optimisation.
• Maintain exceptional standards in service, atmosphere, cleanliness, maintenance and operational execution.
• Partner with corporate teams on marketing initiatives, brand activations, events and business development.
• Ensure compliance with local health & safety, licensing, labour regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years’ experience in luxury or fine‑dining restaurant management, including at least 3 years as General Manager or Assistant General Manager of a high‑volume, branded venue.
• Experience in Michelin‑starred or award‑winning Asian or modern Cantonese restaurants is a strong advantage.
• Previous experience in the UAE or GCC market, preferably within a five‑star hotel or integrated resort.
• Proven ability to lead and develop multicultural teams of 50+ with a hands‑on leadership style.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, profitability and complex restaurant operations.
• Commitment to luxury hospitality standards, VIP guest handling and effective service recovery.
