General Manager – Luxury Wellness Resort

About the role
The General Manager will lead SHA Mexico, a flagship luxury wellness resort, delivering world‑class hospitality combined with preventive medicine and holistic wellness. This senior leader will blend strategic vision with hands‑on operational execution to ensure exceptional guest experiences and strong financial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all operational areas, maintaining the highest standards of luxury service, wellness programs, and guest experience.
- Provide visible, hands‑on leadership to drive consistency, operational excellence, and cultural engagement across departments.
- Embed AB Living Group’s core values—Excellence, Evolution, Honesty, Caring, Happiness—throughout the organization.
- Build, develop, and retain a high‑performing leadership team capable of delivering strategic and operational results.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, revenue management, cost control, and key performance indicators.
- Ensure a seamless, personalized journey for VIP and international guests.
- Act as the public face of the property, engaging with high‑profile guests, stakeholders, and media.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement to keep the resort at the forefront of luxury wellness hospitality.
- Maintain compliance with legal, safety, health, environmental, and operational standards.
- Protect assets, oversee capital expenditure planning, and safeguard long‑term property value.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Administration or related field; advanced studies in Wellness Management or an MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality, with 3–5 years in a General Manager or Director of Operations role.
- Proven expertise across Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Finance, and Commercial functions.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are an asset.
- Strong strategic vision, business orientation, and ability to act globally while executing locally.
Required skills
- Proficiency with property management systems and operational software.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
