General Technician

About the role

Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas is looking for a reliable General Technician to join its hospitality team in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves maintaining the smooth operation of all electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems across the property, ensuring guests experience a safe and comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical and plumbing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults promptly to minimise downtime.
• Respond to maintenance requests from hotel departments in a timely manner.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards while working on site.
• Ensure all facilities and equipment are kept in proper working condition.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a general technician or similar maintenance role.
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit for manual tasks.
• High school diploma or technical/vocational certification preferred.
