General Technician – Painting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a General Technician specialized in painting to join the engineering team at Park Inn by Radisson Dubai Motor City. The role ensures the hotel’s appearance, quality and safety standards are consistently met across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Apply paints, coatings and polishing materials according to manufacturer specifications and hotel brand standards.
• Operate, maintain and safely store all painting tools, equipment and machinery.
• Maintain high‑quality finishes on guest rooms, public spaces, furniture, fixtures and exterior surfaces.
• Collaborate with Guest Room Technicians and other engineering staff to complete maintenance requests promptly.
• Support colleagues on other engineering tasks when needed.
• Keep paint workshops, storage rooms and work areas clean and compliant with health, safety and environmental policies.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests quickly to minimise inconvenience.
• Participate in special projects and follow hotel emergency and fire safety procedures.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in painting, coating and polishing within a hospitality or similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering guest‑focused results.
• Ability to work safely with flammable materials and follow all safety regulations.
• Team player who can cooperate with other engineering disciplines.
