Global Forecasting & Analytics Lead – Workforce Management

About the role

The Forecasting Lead will develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for a large, multilingual insurance operation. You will analyse historical data, identify trends and apply quantitative and qualitative techniques to generate reliable volume projections across multiple product lines and business segments.

Key responsibilities

• Collect forecasting data from the Business Intelligence team and collaborate with operations to understand demand drivers.
• Own data quality checks, maintain data integrity within the WFM system, and ensure models have reliable inputs.
• Build and maintain short‑ and long‑term time‑series forecasting models (ARIMA, SARIMA, TBATS) for various sites, languages and work types.
• Present forecasts, variances and recommendations to WFM, Operations and business stakeholders using Excel, Power BI and other suitable formats.
• Convert model outputs into actionable insights for capacity planning, recruitment and budget FTE requirements.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, trigger re‑forecasts when business changes occur, and flag risks to planning teams.
• Design AI‑assisted low‑/no‑code agents (e.g., AllianzGPT, Claude) to automate repetitive forecasting tasks.
• Coach and develop junior forecasters supporting the function.
