Graduate Civil Engineer – Building Structures (Emirati National)

About the role

WSP is looking for an Emirati graduate to join its Building Structures team in Sharjah. You will support key infrastructure and property projects across the UAE while gaining hands‑on experience in civil and structural design.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing technical designs, reports and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with multi‑disciplinary engineering teams throughout project life‑cycles.
• Support project documentation and ensure compliance with UAE codes and standards.
• Learn and apply digital engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS and SAFE.
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings and help prepare technical deliverables.
• Contribute to team discussions, problem‑solving and creative design thinking.

Required profile

• UAE national with a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Strong interest in building structures, design, architecture or structural analysis.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit.
• Knowledge of ETABS.
• Knowledge of SAFE.
