About the role
Accor is hiring a Guest Service Attendant in Abu Dhabi. The role covers the front desk and welcomes guests from arrival to departure, making sure they have a memorable stay. It is a full-time position.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests and look after them from arrival until departure
- Handle front desk activities such as reception, check-in and check-out, cashiering, foreign exchange and answering guest inquiries
- Maintain the cashier float and keep an accurate daily report of all money received
- Contribute to department targets through sales efforts and build friendly, personalized relationships to encourage guest loyalty
- Anticipate guests' needs and deal swiftly and sensitively with complaints
- Keep the front desk work area clean and orderly at all times
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or diploma/certification required
- Relevant experience in the hotel industry is a must
- Fluency in Arabic and English; additional languages are a plus
- Prior experience with Opera or a related system
- Service-focused personality; experience is an asset
