H2S Technician

About the role

United Safety is seeking an experienced H2S Technician to support drilling, well servicing and industrial operations in Abu Dhabi. The role involves planning, organizing and controlling safety activities on‑site under senior supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain H2S safety equipment, gas detection systems and breathing air lines, ensuring readiness for emergencies.
• Conduct H2S drills, rescues, inspections, site hazard assessments and safety meetings.
• Install, dismantle and strategically place safety equipment such as cascade systems, manifolds, barriers and signage.
• Ensure compliance with the Site Safety Plan, PTW procedures and all safety protocols.
• Perform regular safety inspections, audits, walk‑downs and participate in incident investigations.
• Review Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and support safety department during shutdown audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 2.5 years of offshore H2S experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Currently residing in the UAE or able to join immediately.
• Willingness to work physically and stay in hotel or camp for extended periods.
